The mass email that I sent out about the server transfer is complete! If your site is showing up with a “Suspended” notice - DO NOT PANIC. The DNS hasn’t fully propagated as it can take up to 2-3 days with domain servers (out of everyone’s control). Also, Fantastico is not installed as we have just arrived on the new server. Patience!

Things have been busy around here lately, but we’re still in shape and ready to tackle any obstacles. We look forward to changing the site in a few weeks for the summer and maybe even hosting another contest with even bigger prizes (especially for our hostees), so stick around!

Killer-Butterfly Hosting is run by two dedicated staff members - Sylvia (chief, director, as they say) and Anna (vice president, if you will). Anna is head of the billing department; while I [Sylvia] take care of the general updates, support, and everything else in essence, on this site. This collaborative nature brings about a more flexible atmosphere in the hosting business, as we look toward various viewpoints and situations as a team together.
We began this small hosting site to help others experience the pleasure of being in control of their very own slice of the internet. We believe that the future is very dependent on the World Wide Web, with all sorts of business opportunities and chances to show your own work to others, and the time to learn is now. You are NOT allowed to upload any kind of illegal, pornographic, disturbing, hateful, stolen, or outdated content (this includes media files such as mp3, videos, and proxy scripts). If any of the above listed is found on your site, Killer-Butterfly Hosting reserves the right to remove and suspend or terminate your account. We will try to notify you with a time frame to remove the content, but we cannot guarantee this - depending on the nature of the offense.
Killer-Butterfly hosting will not sell, distribute, or give out your information to outside parties. We hate spam too!
If you are applying for a free plan/subdomain, you must have your site up and running within 30 days (a month). You must place either a text link or an image banner linking back to killer-butterfly.org in a visible portion of your site. For instance, it should be fairly easy to see within 10 seconds of browsing your site. We reserve the right to deny any application for any reason.
If you are ordering a paid plan, we will email you an invoice from killerbutterflyhost[at]gmail.com within 2 days. It will include information about payment. We will email your account details within 24 hours after payment. Payment must be sent within ten days of ordering package.
The fastest and only way of payment is through PayPal. PayPal is free, and opening an account with them is easy. You can pay with your PayPal balance, bank account, credit or debit cards using PayPal. At the current time we do not accept any other type of payment other than through PayPal.
If you would like to cancel our service, please notify us immediately. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to give you a refund. Prices subject to change due to various factors. Hosting plans bought for one year’s worth do not reflect the next year’s charges unless stated.
We are not responsible for any loss of data. It is important that you backup your files in case of a server crash or any lost of data.
By using the terms unlimited/unmetered, we simply mean that you can use as much as you wish as long as you are not defecting our servers. Use as much as you need!
